A Fusion of Farming and Aviation Expertise
Paul grew up on a sheep and beef farm, where he developed an early understanding and appreciation for agriculture. On finishing high school, he joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) for seven years as an Aircraft Technician and has spent 35 years as an Aircraft Engineer in New Zealand and around the world.
He now brings these experiences together in the world of drones. Combining his farming background with aircraft engineering knowledge, he sees drones as the perfect tool for improving both agriculture and other industries, offering practical and reliable solutions with precision and efficiency.

Our Maintenance Services
We are a CAA NZ-approved Drone Maintenance provider for Drones exceeding 15kg. Paul is a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with over 35 years of aircraft engineering experience and has completed manufacturer maintenance training on both DJI Agras and XAG agricultural drones. Mainland Drones Ltd can provide comprehensive servicing, repairs, and annual inspections to ensure your drones are in peak condition.
